One of the five original colourways produced in 1991 the Maroon stood as the only OG colour to never receive a Retro iteration. In December 2015 Nike rectified this oversight with the release of the Air Jordan 6 Retro Maroon as part of a massive Holiday drop. The design features branding details include the Jumpman logo on the shoe’s rubber tongue and lace overlay, as well as OG elements like the Nike Air branding on the heel and clear, translucent outsole. This colourway has finally been granted the revival it has been crying out for, and it looks stunning on the Air Jordan 6 silhouette, the Maroon is one of the true originators, and should be respected as such.
