After making huge waves in the fashion industry, Mowalola, a Nigerian-born fashion designer, has joined forces with New Balance to create a burglar aesthetic collaboration. Dropping at the SS23 runway show at Paris Fashion Week, the duo has given the 9060 silhouette a stealthy yet colourful update that’s unlike any design in a sneaker collection. The black mesh upper improves breathability and comfort, and it’s complemented by black leather overlays that add strength to the iconic silhouette. Colourful accents ensure people take notice of the stylish kicks on your feet, as splashes of teal appear on the medial and lateral N logos, forefoot, and eyestays. You can’t miss the splashes of pink on the midsole. However, there is more to the sneaker than exceptional style, as it provides a comfortable experience thanks to the ABZORB cushioning in the chunky midsole.
